Bonjour,

Voila, je suis debutant sous Linux.
Je suis sous Kubuntu.
J'avais reussi un jour et je ne sais pas comment a mettre freedomip en route....
en faite en bas a droite de mon ecran il y a l'icone du reseau.
Je clic, j'ai ajouté VPN en utilisateur j'ai mis mon login et mon MDP
dans la passerelle j'ai mis vpn2.freedom-ip.com
dans le CA file j'ai mis /etc/openvpn/freedom/ca.crt
et voila.......avant j'avais le petit cadena...ca marchais nikel...mais je ne sais pas pk maintenant ca ne marche plus!!!
help!!!

Bonjour ...

De ce que je peux lire, il manque le cipher, la clef tls et sa direction, le protocol, la compression, ... et je suis étonné qu'avec seulement vos identifiants, le nom du serveur et le certificat vous ayez réussi à vous connecter au VPN ne serait ce qu'une fois.

Bref, avec vos journaux ce sera beaucoup plus simple.

Donc vous n'êtes même pas allez voir les autres discussions concernant linux car il est expliqué à différents endroits comment obtenir et filtrer les journaux de connexion openvpn :

# sudo egrep -i "vpn|network" /var/log/syslog

Ne mettez pas le résultat mais simplement celles où la date / heure est supérieur ou égale à celle du lancement de la connexion vpn ... pour information, une connexion commence par une ligne de ce genre :

OpenVPN 2.2.1 i486-linux-gnu [SSL] [LZO2] [EPOLL] [PKCS11] [eurephia] [MH] [PF_INET6] [IPv6 payload 20110424-2 (2.2RC2)] built on Mar 23 2012

Normal, vous avez pris les ligne de ce matin "minuit neuf" ... et les 10 même lignes se répètent en boucle.
Même sous Kubuntu vous avez le network manager qui vous propose dans l'onglet VPN un "IMPORT". Ensuite, c'est comme dans le tutoriel vidéo Ubuntu ...

Bon..........j'ai bien tout suivi........et non ça ne marche pas......et aucun message d'erreur......rien de rien...
j'ai bien enlevé les deux lignes, puis import, j'ai entré mon ID et MDP......je clique sur la connexion ça se met en italique "connection en cours"
puis rien....
J'ai bien regardé la video, j'ai tout fait (y a pas grand chose a faire)
les paquet sont TOUS installé....
je ne comprend pas pk ça ne marche pas.... sad

Vous auriez dut mettre les logs, mais la fin (les 75 dernières lignes de logs)

# sudo egrep -i "vpn|network" /var/log/syslog | tail -n 75

Pour la vidéo, il n'y a pas grand chose à faire ... il faut décompresser l'archive, importer les configurations des serveurs que vous souhaitez utiliser et lancer la connexion au serveur voulu.
